When first exposed to the world of Doctor Who, the Daleks scared her so much she hid whenever her mom would watch the show (during the Pertwee era). Sandi was lucky in that her love of SciFi & Fantasy was encouraged by her parents. But it took one of her own children to pull her back into the Whoniverse in 2011.
Since her reintroduction to Doctor Who, she has made several costumes from Doctor Who, but they are all of a past era ranging from Medieval to Edwardian. Sandi is an active member of the Dallas Ft Worth Costumers Guild, a local costuming guild, as well as the Order of Gallifrey. During the day, she works in Procurement for a non-profit that operates a hospital ship.

Claire Berry Gardner
Claire Berry Gardner is a Science Fantasy Author, Cosplayer/Costumer, Crafter, Mother & Wife. Though her fandoms span a wide variety of genres her boundless curiosity and desire to explore space and time was what first drew her to the Doctor. It was the mischievous smile and thirst for adventure that claimed her for the 10th Doctor, but later in the 11th Doctor she found a spirit that mirrored her own, playfully dark and fiercely protective.
A curious and imaginative youth, Claire was drawn to study the sciences and history at an early age. These fascinations continued to influence her creative choices later in life even when she decided to heed the callings of her strong artistic nature and pursue writing and theater instead. These pursuits introduced her to her love of costuming and she began creating Disney character influenced costumes and outfits in the early 90s and eventually began participating in historical cosplay. Now with over a decade making magic at the Happiest Place on Earth, she has taken time away from the workforce to focus again on her art and family.

River Alexandra Song
River Alexandra Song came to life in the far reaches of the galaxy. She’s had many lives and many names, but use any but River and you may find you are missing internal organs (in alphabetical order…)
So throughout those many lives just what has she done? She earned her degree in theatre from Northern Michigan University, where she performed in several shows and did tech for many more. She’s sung opera too, established a dinner theatre company, was consort to a jewel thief (she did get the diamond) before making an escape to California. California – where she was one of the founders of EZTV (under another name) worked with the Mark Taper Forum Lab, and the LA Free Shakespeare Festival. She produced a horror film too…
As luck would have it The Doctor and Captain Jack saved her sanity when she needed it and she never looked back. She continues to have various interests – from Physics to performance to time travel, and she’s very happy to have been asked to be part of San Diego Who Con.
